1930s Wooden Timber Front door. 1930s Original reclaimed Wooden'Pine/ Timber' front door.
Carefully removed by professional installers. Pre-owned and has been previously installed. There is some damage to the item which may need to be repaired. Some places where the wood is damaged/chipped.The glass is bowed and 5 panes are cracked (all still intact, could be repaired/ replaced). The putty holding the window in is damaged. Please see last photo/s relating to the defects.
There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible. The colour externally still shows its original colour, internally the door is painted but the paint is chipped and would need to be stripped down and re-painted or varnished if you wanted the wood grain showing.Previously installed to open outwards to the left when being opened from the outside. Hinges/ locks could be altered (holes may need to be filled) if you wanted the door opening/ operating another way. Main lock would need to be changed as there is no key. Glazing is original, leaded single glazed, stained glass. Ideal if you're after some high quality door at a fraction of the original price, as to order these new direct would cost considerably more.
