Wooden Timber 1930s Front door. 1930's Timber/ Pine front door with leaded stained glass. Pre-owned and has been previously installed. Excellent/ very clean condition both sides.
Not bowed or rotted at all. There are chips to the letterbox mounting points on both sides of the door. Small screw holes to the interior top left corner and a very small crack to the top right corner. Lead in the glazing is a little loose and there is a very small section missing close to the centre. Please see last photo/s relating to the defects. There is no frame for this item, so you would need to get one made up by a carpenter or use your existing frame if possible. Externally varnished so the original wood grain still shows and internally painted White. Previously installed to open Inwards to the left when being opened from the outside.
Hinges/ locks could be altered (holes may need to be filled) if you wanted the door opening/ operating another way. The door has two locking points, a top'Yale' Chubb lock and bottom single lock as well as a catch for a security chain. Both locks would need to be changed as there is no key. Glazing is original, single glazed and Distorted. Stained leaded glass, with a pattern design inside.
Ideal if you're after a high quality door at a fraction of the original price, as they no longer make them like they used to. Ref No: 1WD4-08-04-15 (U1 D2).
